Our sculptures out of natural or tinged wooden giraffes (from 15cm to 250cm height) Giraffa camelopardalis
The giraffe is the tallest living animal. Its hight can go more than 4m which helps it to graze tree leaves and to see futher than all other animals. Giraffes live in the Center and South of Africa, preferably in open bushes. The short and low coat or fur is very clear and tainted with brown colour, this provides it an efficient camouflage. It has a very variated diet: leaves, twigs, thorny shrubs, galls of plants, grains and fruits. Giraffes have a considerable resistance to thirst; they are sometimes found assembled around natural salegres where they absorb the salts which is necessary for them. The movement and position of the animal's neck are used to express emotion. When it is angry, a giraffe will lower its neck until it is almost horizontal. In submission, it stretches its neck and raises its nose in the air.
